Pressotherapy
The problem of feeling heavy legs concerns more and more women. Lymphatic stasis, vascular insufficiency, work requiring long periods of standing, especially in high heels, can cause pain. To prevent this, it is necessary to restore proper blood and lymph circulation in the limbs. For this purpose, true lymphatic drainage is used (i.e. a completely different procedure than anti-cellulite massage) according to Vodder, for which an innovative pressotherapy method was created – BOA MAX 2
BOA Max 2 is a device that uses pneumatic sequential massage to stimulate the circulatory and lymphatic systems. This causes increased supply of oxygen and nutrients to the organs. It is a two-part suit consisting of a short and trousers. During the procedure, air is pumped into several chambers one after another, thus creating a pleasant pressure that moves the decay products to the lymph nodes.
Pressotherapy – Through such lymphatic drainage, the following occurs:
- elimination of congestive symptoms, absorption of edema,
- facilitation of venous blood outflow,
- reduction of blood resistance in arteries, which facilitates the work of the heart,
- dilation of blood and lymphatic vessels, which increases the speed of blood circulation.
Pressotherapy – Indications:
- prevention of venous insufficiency,
- support in the treatment of lymphatic insufficiency,
- edema of the upper limbs after mastectomy,
- edema of the lower limbs of various etiologies,
- rehabilitation after injuries and contusions,
- prevention of venous thromboembolism,
- biological regeneration as lymphatic drainage, combating obesity and cellulite.
Pressotherapy – Contraindications:
- active neoplastic disease,
- lymphatic node inflammation,
- arterial circulation disorders,
- skin infections,
- fresh venous thromboses,
- advanced circulatory failure with massive swelling of the lower legs,
- advanced varicose veins of the lower limbs,
- acute inflammation – skin ulcers
