Nose correction using hyaluronic acid preparations – a safe and non-surgical method.

For minor nose shape corrections, filler methods are a natural alternative to plastic surgery procedures. Meanwhile, the fear of irreversible changes that are a consequence of surgical intervention means that we increasingly perform nose shape correction procedures using hyaluronic acid. Moreover, low price, speed of execution and good effects are the advantages of this procedure.

However, it should be remembered that not all patients qualify for hyaluronic acid procedures

The problem remains large post-accident asymmetries, broken noses and septums without adjustment in the past. Ultimately, this requires the intervention of a plastic surgeon. Often, surgeons do not want to perform procedures after previous corrections with fillers. Corrections after previous surgical interventions also carry a considerable risk and we usually do not perform such corrections. Minor asymmetries and “humps” are not a problem for aesthetic medicine today.

Not every case can be qualified for hyaluronic acid correction, so sometimes it is worth remembering that our possibilities remain limited and surgical procedures cannot always be replaced.
